Now lets compare our system to theirs:

    • Case and Power supply
      • if we look at the systems can see that they offer similar components. There are only a few signifigant differences. First is the case. Alienware makes the most awesome computer case hands down of any computer maker out there. But is it worth $600 dollars more? we don't think so.
    • CPU
      • The CPU offered is exactly the same, the intel i7 960. We offer several upgrade options all at lower prices then the competition.
    • Operating System
      • Both systems come with Windows 7 Home Premium with upgrade options.
    • Video cards
      • We offer both single and Dual card options as part of the our base system configuration. They offer only a single card solution at the base price.
    • MotherBoard
      • We use Asus brand mother boards which are generally considered the best motherboards out there for gaming enthusiasts because of the control the user has over their system. Overclocking and other system tweeks are easy to do with the software provided by Asus. The competition use an Intel motherboard of similar design however as of this writing (5/28/2011) the MB they offer still only supports SATA II and USB 2. Our MB supports SATA 3.0 which is Twice as fast as SATA II.
    • Hard Drives
      • We offer similar raid configurations in both the base system as well as in our upgrades at the same or better prices as the competition but unlike them, all our Hard Drives now support SATA 3.0 which have twice the rated Data Transfer speed (6.0 GB/s vs 3.0 Gb/s) as the SATA II drives used by the competition.
    • RAM
      • Both systems have the same RAM as a base 6GB Triple Channel 1600MHz DDR3. We offer similar upgrade as the competition but since our RAM carries the original manufature warranty it includes a limited lifetime warranty on parts and labor. The competition only offers a 1 year warranty but you can purchase a longer service contract from them if you wish.
